Wrapping up Fashions Night Out and Resting Tired Feet

Fashions Night out was a huge success!

Las Vegas rolled out the red carpet in style this year with star studded, fashion packed events at all of the major retail hot spots!

My winner this year for Best FNO hosting would have to be General Growth Properties and Faiss Foley Warren Public Relations!

They invited fashion bloggers to take an exclusive escorted tour de Las Vegas of the GGP FNO happenings.

Laura Coronado of Lollieshopping (my Fashion co-conspirator) and my photographer for the evening Jamie Dunton began our evening at Double Helix at Palazzo where we were greeted with our credentials for the night, complementary drinks and gift bags with Giuliana &  Bill Rancics book.

Next we were swept away to watch the Rancics red carpet arrival and a personal appearance/book signing where they greeted guests, talked about fashion trends and the Fashion Police .

…….whoosh we we off to the Fashion Show Mall where we watched the Saks Fifth Ave. runway show on the main stage and met Heidi Cornell( CEO of Young Fabulous and Broke).

Next, one of my favorite stops of the evening, Neiman Marcus where we were greeted by Melissa Warren of Faiss Foley Warren PR and thanked for attending the GGP events. Thank you FFW for a amazing evening! Our escorted tour was at an end but FNO was far from over!

I wore some gorgeous patent leather heeled booties for the evening and by this time with all the walking my feet were killing me. I was determined to make it through Neimans with my heels still on! (more on this later).

We stopped in at the Alice and Olivia lounge, had a cake-pop then headed into the Make-a-Wish lounge  (proceeeds from this lounge went to the Make-a-Wish Foundation).

Time for some much needed resting of our feet, some much needed nourishment..and of course more cocktails.

Neimans was packed! We watched fashionistas making flip books, getting bindis, being beautified with blowouts from B. the Product and overall just enjoying a night of Fashion.  The feeling in the air was electric!

Remember I told you my feet were killing me? Well they were now throbbing. Luckily I had discovered a new foldup shoe from Konvine that I had on hand for this kind of emergency (more on Konvine later) and was looking for a spot to put them on when I noticed a chic stranger in Neimans wearing a pair!

…and the clock struck 9pm..uh oh we still had Forum Shops and Crystals to go to and the festivities were over at 11pm!

Feeling like fashionable Cinderellas we rushed to our carriages where I donned my Konvine flats that I had tucked away in my handbag and we were off to the Forum Shops.

Unfortuntly we missed the Fashion Show and crowning of the New Designer Search winner! There just wasnt enough time to do everything!

We went straight to John Varvatos to wrap up the evening. Matt Goss and Robin Antin were in-store!

We took photos in the super fun John Varvatos Polite in Public photo booth, enjoyed more cocktails, and met up with Fashion Photographer Jerry Metellus and the Vegas Player crew.

Our last stop was a move next door to Spago for a few more cocktails, some delish munchies and hanging with great friends.

FNO Las Vegas 2011 was a blast! Cant wait til next year!

  1. Like many, I have a penchant for wearing shoes that look amazing, but hurt like heck. How perfect are foldable flats?! And how many times could I have used these in the past (and how many times will I need these in the future)? This is such a great idea for a shoe.

  2. Susie needs these flats cuz even though she’s preggers, she still makes the mistake of wearing “cute shoes” that aren’t always “comfy shoes”. I’d like to keep some flats in the car for her so I can be the hero next time she’s in pain. 🙂

  3. I love those flats with the skull and crossbones, not to mention your picture wearing them! You look so happy! These shoes would come in so handy when going to any red carpet event/ night out at the club, where it’s more important to go in wearing heels and not so much when you leave. I refuse to ever go barefoot at the end of the night even if it means my feet will pay for it in blisters and bruises.

  4. Since I was your photographer all night following you around in heels and in pain… Jellous of your Konvine shoes and noticing how comfortable you were… I deserve a pair!!! Please!!!!!!!!!!¡¡¡¡¡!!!!
