It can be a challenge to keep things looking cute when it’s 113 degrees outside.  

OK summer, challenge accepted!

I am NOT a shorts person.  They don’t look right on me and I am just plain uncomfortable in them so I have to get creative in the heat.

I live in super lightweight distressed denim.  Roll them, cuff them, keep them mid calf, wear them with sneakers, sandals or heels.  Dress them up or dress them down they look great so many different ways.

Right now I am OBSESSED with the AG Jeans Stilt Roll Up- they are the perfect summer weight.

Another of my summer style tricks is to layer tees with cute strappy bralettes.  Its way more comfy than a bra for summer and delivers an edgy punch of style.  Pair them with v-necks, sheer tops and low cut side tops.

Sunglasses are my happy place.  I could buy a pair every single day.  I have been seriously considering transforming a coat closet in my house to a drawer filled sunglass treasure chest- I love them THAT much!

One of the biggest questions/comments I get on my social media channels is “Where did you get those sunglasses?”

YES NEW STYLES EVERY WEEK!  The ones I’m wearing are from the “Off the Runway” Collection and are available in brown, red and black. 

My love for sunglasses can only be eclipsed by my love for skinny margaritas and tacos so the second I saw this tee at Saks Off Fifth it was mine.

I completed the fun summer vibe with a fringe crossbody bag from TOPSHOP, striped Sam Edelman heels and a distressed bandanna from TOPMAN worn in my hair. (The heels are from a few seasons ago but I have similar styles in my SHOP the POST bar at end of post).
