Graduation Gifts Homesick Candles

Graduation Gifts

Graduation season is upon us, and with it comes the challenge of finding the perfect gift for the high school senior, brand-new college graduate, or freshly-certified Yoga instructor in your life.

Chances are your grad will be moving away to either further their education or begin their career in the real world. Why not send them off with a graduation gift that reminds them of home!

Homesick Candles is the genius idea of a group of friends who each moved away from the place they call home. The hand-poured, soy wax candles have distinctive fragrances from each city/state.   Los Angeles features notes of orange zest, lemon slices and hints of ocean breeze while Louisiana delivers notes of sweet potato, florals and citrus and Rhode Island brings the scents of maple, hay rides, cinnamon, cloves and moss.

Each Candle features a clean modern graphic of the state across the front that easily vibes with any type of decor and come packaged in a wonderfully in a luxe matte black box.

I of course sampled the Las Vegas candle.

Las Vegas isn’t exactly known for its great scents…aka smoky casinos and allergy ridden dust storms… but this candle brings Las Vegas to olfactory life in the best way.

“Desert sand and midnight air, herbs and spices from the finest restaurants, and hints of cold hard cash awaken big dreams in the City of Lights”.

Fresh, clean and full of possibilities.

  1. This is such an awesome idea! I love that their are 26 different scents for different cities. Great gift for graduates moving away for college!

  2. This is such a cool idea! My sister is graduating high school next year, so I’ll have to think about getting her one. And I’ll have to let her know about these in case she wants to gift these for her friends who are graduating this year. I might even end up buying one for myself!
