Chloe Fall Preview

Chloe Boutique Forum Shops at caesars

The FW ’17 season marks creative Director Waight Keller’s final collection with Chloe and it’s a collection that encompasses everything I love about the brand.

Girly and feminine with that perfect mashup of boho and refined the collection draws inspiration from both the ’60s and ’70s infusing folksy details and lots of charm.

Any of you that are frequent readers know that I am head over heels OBSESSED with Chloe.  The brand suits my personal style to a T!

I wanted to give you an up close and personal look at some of my favorite pieces from this stunning collection so I popped into the Chloe Boutique at The Forum Shops at Caesars to take you on a little Shopping Adventure.

This dress.

It’s Everything.

Crêpe de chine with delicate eyelet details and a button down front.  Imagine this with tights, the cutest booties, Oversized Chloe sunnies and a floppy hat.

Chloe is know for their “it’ bags.

Remember back in 2005 when they launched The Paddington lock bag?   Waiting lists were a mile long and getting longer; the fashion industry was in a full-on Paddington panic, and EVERYONE was clamoring to get their hands on one!

Fast forward to 2017 and meet the Nile Bracelet Bag. It’s “THE” bag of the season.

The gold hardware acts as a bracelet that you can either lift up and carry or wear down with a shoulder strap attached. Being able to wear the bag multiple ways makes the bag that much more versatile and timeless. The Nile Bracelet Bag is available in Motty Grey, Black, Caramel and Off White two sizes, small and medium.  Shown below is the small in Motty Grey and Medium in Black.

Speaking of “IT” pieces I have to talk about the Chloe Susanna boot.  This iconic style has been hotter than hot in fashion circles for the past few seasons (it was released in 2008) and it’s still on fire for 2017.

This season we will see the Susanna in a wide range of colors, including cherry syrup, greige, bordeaux, jasper green, black and reef shell in both leather and suede with either gold or silver hardware.  So many choices!  I need a pair NOW!

Stylist Tip: Wearing these boots 1/2 zipped is the fashion forward trend.  Keep that zipper loose ladies.

I am OBSESSED with Chloe sunglasses (I own like 6 pairs, yes I have a problem lol). There is something so perfect about them.  Statement making with a retro vibe and a perfect fit.  They are oh so chic and in my opinion the most fashion forward sunnies out there.

This season there are three styles that will be taking over: The Carlina, The Jackson and the Dafne.

Last but not least meet Faye.  I am convinced she is going to be my BFF.  Oh the adventures Faye and I could have together!

I’ve been eyeing this bag for the last year in one form or another and now I know I have to have her in this patchwork stripe.  Look how happy she makes me!

Jimmy Choo AW ’17

Jimmy Choo Forum Shops

I have been neck deep in Fall Fashion shoots for the last few months (September is coming fast) and out of everything I have been working with, for me there is one huge standout for the coming season, the AW ’17 footwear collection from Jimmy Choo.

Of course I couldn’t show these beauties from set, at least not until the magazine’s print but luckily for me Fall ’17 has finally landed at retailers so I popped into the Jimmy Choo Boutique at the Forum Shops to share with you some of my favorites from the collection.

Jimmy Choo’s Creative Director Sandra Choi’s mission for AW 2017 is “To do sexy in a new way.”

And boy oh boy did she do it!

The AW 17 collection plays with proportions and shapes in an interesting and new way.  With a mix of fabrics and textures the collection offers a little something for everyone including leopard, metallic, fringe, rhinestones, velvet, patent, satin, pop art star cut-outs and a variety of different heel heights, from low to high, stiletto to block heel.  There are tons of sexy strappy details, metal hardware embellishments and this season’s must-have, high cut shoes.

Always game for a shoe trying on sesh, I put together a little shoe-montage for you with my top picks from the collection:

Jimmy Choo AW 17 Collection

Jimmy Choo “Hustle” Black Suede Mules with Pink Galaxy Star Print and Studs.

Jimmy Choo AW 17 Collection

Jimmy Choo “Tiff” Hazelnut Leopard Print Pony and Black Calf Leather Pointy Toe Pumps

Jimmy Choo AW 17

Jimmy Choo “Hansa” Vintage Rose Suede and Nappa Leather Ankle Sandals

Jimmy Choo AW 17 Fringe Heels

Jimmy Choo “Malia” Mink Suede Sandals with Fringe Detailing

Jimmy Choo Lark Bootie

Jimmy Choo “Lark” Bottle Green Shiny Calf Leather Booties

Guys, I didn’t forget about you.

The Jimmy Choo AW ’17 mens collection is something you don’t want to miss.  In my opinion it’s their best men’s collection to date!

Focused on the idea of contrast, the mix of sartorial and edge. The collection is inspired by the band The Clash, and combines unexpected materials such a flannel to create a mash-up of style genres.  Dressy finishes are used on more casual styles and a rebel edge is added to typically conservative formal styles.   The new collection incorporates Jimmy Choo’s signature star motif in a way that is oh so polished but oh so punk.  The detailing is sheer perfection.

Getting Sweet with Links of London

Links of London Las Vegas

Something really sweet is happening over at The Forum Shops.

Last week iconic jeweler Links of London opened the doors to their fifth U.S. boutique at The Forum Shops at Caesars.

The newest U.S. store features displays that incorporate elements unique to the Las Vegas location. The brands most loved Sweetie Collection is showcased in a display reimagined to resemble a roulette table. A separate Friendship Table hosts a mix-and-match bracelet bar. An Engraving and Customization Bar — home to the brand’s made-to-order program — allows customers to custom design their charm bracelets on the spot. The boutique also offers in-house engraving, restringing and polishing.

In honor of the opening the brand has launched a new “Welcome to Las Vegas” Keepsake charm that is ONLY available at the Las Vegas Boutique!

One of Links of London’s most popular pieces is the Sweetie Bracelet.

Inspired by the candy bracelets of your childhood, the Sweetie allows you to create a bespoke bracelet with charms and sparkling diamond rondelle beads to suit your own personal style.

All of the sweetness and none of the calories!

What has me sweet on the Sweetie is that since it’s totally customizable it can adapt to any woman’s personal style.

Go edgy with mixed metals or keep it luxe and sophisticated by adding diamond rings.

Tell your story of love, luck, wishes or dreams through whimsical charms. The choices are endless!

I went with sterling silver and I think I’m going to add in some Rhodium beads to give it that edgy gunmetal feel.

Links of London is located at The Forum Shops at Ceasars.

Gabrielle Chanel

Gabrielle Chanel

A new Chanel fragrance is a very rare event, the last was the debut of Chance in 2002 (fifteen years ago) but on September 1st the world will finally meet Gabrielle Chanel, the latest olfactory masterpiece from Chanel.

Gabrielle Chanel

Last week I got an insider preview of the fragrance at the Chanel Beauty Boutique in The Forum Shops at Caesars and today I’m dishing on the details.

The scent is named after Coco Chanel herself.  Gabrielle was actually her real name!  Coco (her nickname) has become so legendary today, that everyone forgets that her given name was Gabrielle.

The design of the bottle is super sleek and feminine (the thinnest to date) and it took the fashion house years to perfect. If you look at most perfume bottles, you’ll see they have a solid bit of glass at the bottom, whereas with the Gabrielle bottle, the base is sleek, chic and barely there.

Gabrielle Chanel

Playing with the idea of duality, a woman being both lady and rebel, this scent is instantly a classic and yet something new, more modern and contemporary.

It’s Chanel for a new generation.  Opening with notes of white florals and jasmine the scent then settles with fruity green notes of Ylang-Ylang, sparkling Orange Blossom and Grasse Tuberose.

Totally addictive.

MAJOR INSIDER TIP:  Although the fragrance doesn’t launch worldwide until September 1st, 2017 YOU can get it NOW exclusively at the Chanel Beauty Boutique in the Forum Shops at Caesars! Just tell them you want to meet Gabrielle.

Uptown with Henri Bendel

Henri Bendel Uptown Wallet

Like the rest of the world I was soooo excited to get my iphone 7plus, I mean come on that camera and portrait setting alone, right?!?!

But my excitement was quickly deflated when I realized that I could no longer fit my iphone into most of my evening bags and crossbodies.  I love the phone but even on set it has become cumbersome and doesn’t really fit into my pocket in a non-obtrusive way, which is why I am so dang excited about my latest discovery from Henri Bendel.

Yesterday I went on a marathon shopping adventure at The Forum Shops at Caesars (I can’t wait to show you all my finds in the coming weeks) and found the most adorable problem solver EVER at Henri Bendel, The Uptown Organizer Wallet.

I was invited into the store to preview all of the new pieces launching in August but I was so hyper focused on this baby I could hardly pay attention to the others- they had to drag me away kicking and screaming, lol.

So of course, I bought it and HAVE to share my find with you.

This pretty gal has ample space for credit cards (11 slots), three interior open pockets, a handy zip pocket (which is great for me to store receipts), an exterior open back pocket and drum roll please…a snap enclosure for your iphone 7plus!

Yaas ladies that’s right, that big boy nestles right in there snug as a bug in a rug.

It even has a cute little slot for lipstick!  The whole thing folds up into a chic wristlet with a double snap enclosure.

Toss it into your day bag to use as a wallet or use as a wristlet when you don’t feel like carrying a big bag!

Available now in black, sun-dried tomato, grey snake and blue ombre.

Launching August 2 two gorgeous new shades, port and mauvewood (the adorbs millennial pink shade I bought).

Pop into Henri Bendel at the Forum Shops and check this gorgeous gal out for yourself.

As if this isn’t enough motivation, they even have a ring light and a step and repeat wall for you take photos in front of!
