Hello, my name is Christie and I am a Chanel addict.

As most of you know I have developed a REAL REAL addiction…literally.  I can’t stop shopping on TheRealReal.com.

My target of interest:  Chanel jackets.  This season I can’t get enough of them.  Elegant, chic and sartorially polished, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, they make for the perfect Fall companion.

Today’s Outfit of the day stars my latest Chanel find from TheRealReal.com paired with some menswear inspired pieces and I’m breaking it down so you can get the look.

Menswear Elements: The Blouse.

Bow neckties and pussy-bow blouses are my happy place. Season after season they are the ultimate, easy tie-everything-together accessory that gives off an uptown-chic vibe than can’t be accomplished with a necklace.

For this look I took a simple collared blouse from ASOS and then tied a thin scarf in a bow around the neck.  You can also accomplish this with a ribbon.

STYLIST TIP: If your bow or ribbon looks wrinkled take a flat iron on a low setting and sweep it through it.  It perfectly removes any wrinkles just like it does for your hair to give a crisp clean bow.

Menswear Elements: Cropped Trouser.

These wool cropped trousers are one of my favorite finds from EVERLANE.

A menswear look with a fit that works with even my curvy hips.

The Jacket: Chanel Boucle Jacket.

This jacket pretty much checks off every mark on the fall trends checklist!  OMG it’s so dreamy I can’t believe it’s actually mine!

Velvet collar and velvet camellia flower, lace detailing on sleeves and trim, texture throughout and ummm it’s Chanel!

Even the buttons are incredible!

The Accessories: Satchel and Loafers.

These two are the perfect pairing.  Keeping with the Menswear inspired theme the heeled loafers offer the ultimate equalizer of both masculine and feminine while the satchel boasts clean lines and structure.

I picked up this fantastic FURLA metropolis satchel at the Saks Fifth Avenue event I hosted last week and the Donald J Pliner heels were a score from Fall 2015.  They are still available on sale in limited sizes but similar styles can be found on the website.
